The Natur- & Geopark Mëllerdall has announced that it is celebrating its geological, natural and cultural heritage as part of the third "Natur- & Geopark Mëllerdall Week", taking place in the Mullerthal region from 12 to 23 May 2021.

The programme consists of a mix of in-person and digital activities. Highlights include a georally for the whole family around the geosite of the year “Champignon" in Nommern, the "Stone Made Objects" exhibition at the Trifolion in Echternach and an online conference on dealing with heavy rainfall and flash floods in the Mullerthal region. Digital activities on the agenda include the "Layer Game", which looks at how a valley is formed.

The aforementioned conference, organised in cooperation with the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) and Luxembourg's Water Management Agency, will take place on Thursday 20 May 2021 at 19:00 via Zoom. To attend, register via email: info@naturpark-mellerdall.lu.
