Bee Together Luxembourg has announced that the Nature Challenge, organised by the Musée national d'histoire naturelle Luxembourg (MNHNL), can be undertaken this weekend, until Monday 27 April 2020.
Bee Together encourages people to observe wild plants and animals around one's home, and record them using the iNaturalist app that can be installed on smartphones.
This is a great way to observe and learn about wild plants and animals. It is also a great family activity. The challenge involves taking photographs from 24 to 27 April and upload them to a iNaturalist account on or before 3 May.
It is a fabulous challenge, mobilising members of the public to contribute recordings to increase the amount of data available to the scientific community on the distribution of wild species.
