The Heringer Millen tourist centre in Mullerthal will be hosting its annual Christmas market from 6 to 8 December 2019.

Now in its eighth year, the market is traditionally held on the second Advent weekend. The tourist centre will once again transform into a cosy winter village, equipped with huts, Christmas trees, wooden stoves, Swedish torches and Christmas songs.

The market pays particular attention to original handmade works, with 30 selected artisans set to present sculptures made of all kinds of materials, a variety of textile creations, jewellery, decorations and more. There will also be plenty to eat and drink, from homemade mulled wine and freshly cooked tartes flambées to hot dogs, "Gromperekichelcher" (potato fritters).

The Christmas market will be open on Friday 6 December from 17:00 to 22:00, on Saturday 7 December from 12:00 to 22:00 and on Sunday 8 December 2019 from 11:00 to 18:00.
