The NGOs Pride Luxembourg and Rosa Lëtzebuerg have announced a jam-packed programme for the 20th edition of Luxembourg Pride Week, taking place from 6 to 12 July 2019.

The one-week-long Luxembourg pride festival, organised every July by and for the local LGBTIQ community, celebrates diversity and tolerance whilst fighting against discrimination.

An Opening Party at Bar Rouge in Luxembourg City will kick-start this year's celebrations on 6 July, followed by an opening ceremony on 8 July in Esch-sur-Alzette and a screening of "Piscilla, Queen of the desert" (with Live Drag Show" on 9 July at Kinosch, also in Esch-sur-Alzette. On 10 July, there will be a "Diva Storytelling" session with Séraphine at the Esch library and, on 11 July, interested parties can join a round-table debate on the question "Do we still need a Pride?", at Kulturfabrik in Esch-sur-Alzette.

The festival will continue with the Capital Pride Party, held at Tube Bar in Luxembourg City for the third consecutive year, on 12 July, as well as a Pride Parade and a two-day Street Fest across Esch-sur-Alzette on 13 (and 14) July. Later that same day, celebrations will culminate in the Pride Week Closing Party at Lenox Club in Luxembourg City.
