Bee Together and the natur&ëmwelt Remich Section are to team up to learn about pollinators, particularly our wild solitary bees, near Dudelange (op der Haard) on Sunday 22 July 2018 at 14:00.
Those attending this event will observe and try to determine the species during the excursion. The guide will explain their lifecycle and what actions we can take to improve their sources of food and habitat.
Registrations for the event need to be made on or before 19 July at https://bit.ly/2N05S9g - the precise meeting location will be sent to those who register.
Before you come to the event, you may wish to take our short
quiz on pollinators and review our
list of things you can do to help pollinators at home. One thing you can do for our pollinators is to use pesticide-free plants in your garden that you can purchase from one of the producers listed in the brochure "The Importance of Pesticide-Free Flowers and Ornamental Plants".
In the case of poor weather conditions, the event will be rescheduled.
There is no cost for the event though the organisers would appreciate donations based on the principle of: Pay What You Wish. The money collected from the event will be used to purchase seeds and/or fruit trees to benefit pollinators. You can either put money in the donation box at the event or transfer your donation to Bee Together's bank account Bic: BCEELULL, IBAN: LU46 0019 4555 2039 4000
