All Japan Sushi Academy;
One can now learn the secrets of Japanese cuisine in Luxembourg through a subsidiary of the All Japan Sushi Academy (AJSA).
This project is an initiative of chef Jorge Ribeiro who recently undertook specialised training in Japanese cuisine and has taken charge of expanding the Japanese Academy to new destinations, starting with the Grand Duchy.
The AJSA is a school recognised and certified by all entities in the Japanese culinary field. Its president, Yamada Sensei, has over 45 years of experience in Japanese cuisine, and has also been the mentor and coach of soem of the best chefs in the world. In 2017 he coached three of the top six ranked at the World Sushi Championship; Fábio Noboru Catsuqui and Mari Saito (3rd and 6th respectively at these championships) are now co-ordinators and trainers of the academy.
Luxembourg will have the honour of welcoming trainers Yamada Sensei himself, together with Fábio Noboru Catsuqui. The first classes will be held on Sunday 22 April 2018, starting with the Yakisoba and Guioza courses.
Jorge Ribeiro, chef in Luxembourg, is the man behind this project of the Japanese culinary academy in Luxembourg. "With a growing interest in this type of cuisine, we believe that the AJSA courses in Luxembourg will be a success," said the Portuguese-born chef who is also passionate about Japanese cuisine.
Cooking classes start at the end of April; for details, see https://ajsa.eu/inscricoes/
