
On Friday 15 December 2017, the City of Luxembourg and the Luxembourg City Tourist Office undertook the official launch of the 3rd edition of the Luxembourg Light Festival which is beig held over three consecutive days, from Friday 15 to Sunday 17 December nightly between 18:00 and 23:00.
The spectacle held in public spaces is presented this year in the form of a route that allows spectators to discover audio-visual installations, video projections and interactive light shows in different parts of the capital, including Place Guillaume II, the forecourt of the National Museum of History and Art, the Place de Clairefontaine, along the Corniche and the fortifications of the city.
Artists, designers, collectives and filmmakers from Luxembourg, France, Belgium and Germany are showcasing works adapted to their place of installation, integrating into their environment and highlighting the heritage, squares and alleys of Luxembourg city.
Accessible to an audience of all ages and nationalities, the Luxembourg Light Festival is aimed at both citizens and visitors, allowing them to (re) discover the city of Luxembourg in an unusual way.
