In just over one week, this year’s Miss and Mister Luxembourg will be unveiled at election night on 26 November at Casino 2000 from 18:00.
The Miss Luxembourg contest, created in 1927, annually elects the most voted-for beautiful young woman between 18 to 25 years of age in the Grand Duchy. Appolonia Kemp was the first Miss Luxembourg. The first Mister Luxembourg was elected in 2010.
Every year, on election night, a raffle is organised with profits going towards sending the winners to represent Luxembourg in some of the most prestigious international beauty competitions in the world. As well as abroad, Miss Luxembourg and Mister Luxembourg lend their image throughout the year to Luxembourg’s charity operations supported by the Comité National, which has been chaired since June 2017 by Hervé Lancelin.
