On Friday 21 October 2022, the two quaterfinal matches for the Luxembourg Ladies Tennis Masters took place at the d'Coque in Luxembourg-Kirchberg.

Top Seed and former WTA No. 1, Martina Hingis of Switzerland, recovered from a slow start against an inspired, former WTA No. 4, Kiki Bertens of The Netherlands, to convincingly win the first Quarter Final Match of the evening 7-6(2), 6-2.

The second match was cut short when another former WTA No. 1, Jelena Jankovic of Serbia, fell and injured her achilles. This gave the former WTA No. 5, Daniela Hantuchova of Slovakia, a walkover to the Semifinal.

Daniela stayed by Jelena's side trying to comfort her during the on-court medical intervention until she was escorted off court in a wheel chair. A spectator called from the stands to say "See you next year" to Jelena. Daniela wished Jelena a speedy recovery from her injury.

The semifinal matches will take place on Saturday 22 October 2022 from 18:00 onwards.
