The inaugural Luxembourg Ladies Tennis Masters event kicked off at d'Coque in Luxembourg-Kirchberg on Thursday 20 October 2022.
Kicking off the quarter-finals on Thursday evening, Belgium's Kim Clijsters, and invitational's 2nd seed, drew on the experience of her former WTA No. 1 ranking to dominate Luxembourg's Mandy Minella 6-3, 6-1.
Subsequently, 4th seed and former WTA No. 2 Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland defeated former WTA No. 9 Julia Görges of Germany 6-3, 6-3 in the closing match of the evening.
More quarter-finals matches are set for Friday evening, with top seed Martina Hingis of Swizerland taking on the Netherland's Kiki Bertens and 3rd seed Jelena Jankovic of Serbia later playing Slovakia's Daniela Hantuchova.
