On Sunday, Lucas Pouille upset the top seeded Dominic Thiem to win his maiden ATP Tour title and become the 6th Frenchman to hold the title since the tournament's inception in 2003.

The 22 year-old has had an outstanding season making it to one other final and beating 5 top-10 ranked players, including Rafael Nadal at the US Open. Luxembourg's Gilles Muller reached the quarter-finals of the event.
