On Saturday, Luxembourg's 15 year-old Eleonora Molinaro played against France's 29 year-old Mathilde Johansson (ranked #211) in the first round of qualifying for the BGL BNP Paribas Luxembourg Open 2015.
At the CK Tennis Centre in Kockelscheuer, the French player dominated the first set, winning 1-6. After a pep talk from her coach on court, Eleonora played aggressively in the second set in front of an enthusiastic Luxembourgish crowd. In the end, however, it was Mathilde who managed to win the close second set tie-break to move into the next round.
