Based on the tremendous success of the Open Days of Deloitte Luxembourg’s Advisory & Consulting Group (ACG) in 2014, a second version was organised this year on 26 and 27 November.
More than 300 students from leading business schools and universities in Luxembourg, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands were asked to submit their application. After screening, 71 were invited to join the one-and-a-half-day event in Luxembourg.
During their stay, the students got a chance to attend several workshops on various consulting topics, meet professionals and partners from the different departments and were introduced to the multilingual and multicultural environment in Luxembourg – a key differentiating opportunity for young people seeking to develop an international career.
“Today’s students are the leaders of tomorrow. As one of the premier career destinations for young professionals, we need to show these students how they can actively shape their careers and make an impact that matters”, explained Benjamin Collette, Partner and Talent & Innovation leader at Deloitte Luxembourg. “We want to show today’s talent how they can create an interesting and challenging career at Deloitte, and that starts during their studies—not after graduation”.
Last year’s Open Days welcomed more than 80 students, of which more than 20% were offered an open-term contract after graduation from their respective schools.
