Kinepolis Luxembourg has announced a new series of "Opera at the Movies" as part of the 2024/25 season of the Metropilitan (Met) Opera in New York.
Eight productions will be screened at Ciné Utopia in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg, Kinepolis-Kirchberg and Kinepolis-Belval.
As reported by Kinepolis, "from Mozart's 18th century to Jeanine Tesori's 21st century, each work explores, in its own way, the noblest and most terrible of human nature, through genius scores and librettos, magnified by ever more remarkable stagings".
Subscriptions for ten operas will go on sale at the box office (cinema) from Monday 6 May 2024. Individual ticket sales will begin on Monday 20 May 2024 online and at the box office. From then on, subscriptions for five operas will be available for purchase from the box office.

The venue will offer a welcome cocktail 50 minutes before live performances.
