JBF Toys and Trains has announced it will officially open its new flagship store in Howald with a two-day opening event on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October 2026.
JBF Toys and Trains, founded in September 2022, said that its new flagship store, located at the Scillas Shopping Square in Howald, provides significantly more space for an expanded product range, including LEGO, Märklin, Fleischmann, Roco, Tamiya, Revell, Pokémon trading cards, hobby supplies and collectibles, while also creating more room for workshops, demonstrations and events.
“The opening of our new Flagship Store represents an exciting new chapter for JBF Toys and Trains. The additional space allows us to expand our assortment and create more opportunities for workshops, demonstrations and events. We want to create a destination where LEGO® fans, model train enthusiasts, model builders and collectors can come together and enjoy their hobbies,” said Sanne Boersma, owner of JBF Toys and Trains.
Throughout the weekend, visitors to the store can enjoy a varied programme of demonstrations and family activities for enthusiasts of all ages. The programme will include expert demonstrations covering LEGO, model trains and model kits, as well as an introduction to LEGO® Studio, where visitors can discover how to design and create their own virtual LEGO models.
Younger visitors can enjoy a bouncy castle and take part in a fun LEGO building contest on a wobbly plate, with small prizes to win. Refreshments and treats will be available throughout the weekend, creating a relaxed and festive atmosphere in which visitors can explore the new store, meet fellow enthusiasts and celebrate the opening together.
On Sunday 11 October, the celebrations will continue with JBF Toys and Trains and Ladies Circle 4 Luxembourg (LC4) bringing the community together for a special Charity Day, raising funds for Fondation Maison de la Porte Ouverte (FMPO). LC4 forms part of the Round Table Family, an international movement founded on friendship and service.
The organisers have said that there will be three special workshop sessions for children aged six and above. Participation is €25 per child, with the full fee donated directly to charity. As places are limited, pre-registration is required. The funds raised will go to support families and victims of domestic violence, helping them work towards a safer and more secure future.
Throughout Sunday, 10% of all JBF Toys and Trains store sales will also be donated to charity.
In addition, visitors are encouraged to support the charity bake sale and the sale of drinks and snacks by LC4.
