On Saturday 2 May 2026, the Luxembourg Socialist Workers' Party (LSAP) Steinsel organised its first “Vide Dressing” event at the Centre de Loisirs Norbert Melcher in Steinsel, bringing together 47 vendors offering pre-owned fashion items.

The event aimed to promote sustainable fashion and to give people from across Luxembourg an opportunity to buy and sell second-hand clothing, including shoes, bags, hats, leather goods and accessories, with sizes ranging from XS to XXL.

By midday, around 40 visitors had arrived to explore the market. They browsed the displayed items and chatted with vendors. Background music and a relaxed setting helped to create a laid-back atmosphere throughout the venue. In addition to the clothing stands, organisers also provided a food and drinks area serving hot dogs, refreshments and other snacks.

The market featured a mix of seasonal and branded items, with prices ranging from a few euros to around €70 for higher-end pieces. Vendors presented neatly arranged stands and actively engaged with visitors, offering advice and helping them to find suitable sizes or styles.

Entry was free of charge for visitors, while vendors paid €16 per table to sell their goods. Those wishing to try on items could use two shared changing areas with mirrors located between the stands.

Speaking to Chronicle.lu, LSAP Steinsel secretary Nathalie Groeber said that the event exceeded expectations. She explained that organisers initially worried about a lack of vendor interest but 47 people registered in advance. She added that organisers limited participation to 50 vendors to ensure enough space for each stand.

Nathalie Groeber highlighted that the event aims to attract an international audience and welcomes interest from across Luxembourg, not only from the local community.

Looking ahead, she confirmed that the team plans to organise another “Vide Dressing” event in autumn 2026, likely at the same venue.
