On Wednesday 7 May 2025, Luxembourg's Environment Agency reported that four sex toys have been banned from sale due to safety regulation violations.
As the authority responsible for investigating and determining violations of the amended law of 16 December 2011 on the registration, evaluation and authorisation of chemical substances and the classification, labelling and packaging of chemical substances and mixtures, the Environmental Agency has ordered the market withdrawal of the following sex toys:
- Rimba Palma Black (EAN 8718924240229): Safety Gate number SR/01602/25;
- Satisfyer Love Breeze (EAN 4061504003450): Safety Gate number SR/01651/25;
- BGT Rechargeable Bullet Pink (EAN 8714273928863): Safety Gate number SR/01647/25;
- Pipedream OMG Bullets (EAN 603912758719): Safety Gate number SR/01781/25.
Customers in possession of one of these items are asked to stop using it. They can contact the point of sale for instructions.
