On Friday 14 March 2025, Circle K Luxembourg announced the opening of its fourth shop, at the Rumelange service station in south-western Luxembourg, close to the French border.
Circle K Luxembourg is an authorised TotalEnergies reseller for service stations in Luxembourg, operating under the TotalEnergies brand. The Rumelange-Frontière station will be the second service station to house a Circle K shop, car wash, fuel pumps and charging stations.
In a statement, Circle K said that the 340 m² shop will welcome both Luxembourg residents and cross-border commuters. It will feature a food corner and a coffee corner, offering a selection of food and drink products, including sandwiches and pastries.
As with the other shops converted in Luxembourg since the acquisition of Total Energies by the Canadian group Alimentation Couche-Tard, the Circle K concept is described as extending beyond the point of sale. The car wash will be branded Circle K and will also offer a customised car wash service.
The service station will have 20 pumps spread over ten islands, as well as two charging stations: a dual 22 kW AC station with two connectors and a 300 kW station with two outlets. The station's lane and fuel will remain under the TotalEnergies brand.
Frank Reuter, Managing Director of Circle K Luxembourg, said: "We are proud to be able to expand the Circle K concept in Luxembourg with this fourth store in less than a year. Our team of 22 employees is looking forward to serving our customers in Rumelange-Frontière in this new store."
