4 New Pop-up Stores Inaugurated in Luxembourg City

On Wednesday 26 February 2025, the Mayor and Aldermen of Luxembourg city inaugurated four new pop-up stores located in the Luxembourg-ville and Luxembourg-gare districts.

- "Emergence", located at 38 rue Philippe II, is a streetwear boutique that showcases independent Luxembourg, French, Belgian and Swiss designers, and offers a wide selection of authentic and unique pieces that reflect the vision and know-how of their creator.

- "No Rainer", located at 40 rue Philippe II, offers unique raincoats for all the family. The brand has developed two collections including a range of functional, colourful and trendy ponchos for children and adults, as well as a range of transparent and elegant waterproof coats for women and men.

- "Atelier Luxera", located at 43 Grand-Rue, offers a wide range of high-quality ceramic tableware as well as matching decorative objects to bring a touch of elegance and beauty to meals shared with friends or family. The items are handmade, in an artisanal way, by small family businesses in Portugal.

- "LAFF House", located at 15 avenue de la Gare, is a project of the Luxembourg Art & Fashion Foundation that brings together in a single location a production workshop, a showroom to exhibit and offer for sale the creations and a space reserved for workshops.

The "pop-up stores" project

By ensuring short-term rental of commercial spaces, the City of Luxembourg offers the possibility to designers, entrepreneurs and start-ups to test their product, service or concept in direct contact with their customers. Thus, the concept of "pop-up stores" serves as a springboard for tenants who can consolidate their professional experience before launching definitively into business. Furthermore, pop-up stores contribute to the creation of a rich commercial offer and to attracting a diverse public to the city centre.
