Luxembourg hard rock group Porn Queen will release their new single "Mantra" on Sunday 5 July 2020.

Active since 2010, Porn Queen was created by Lucas Ferraz (vocals and guitar) and Fred Barreto (guitar), two Luxembourg residents from Brazil. Luxembourgers Yves DeVille (drums) and Fastro Daniel (bass guitar) later joined the group, followed by Nadja Prange in February 2019.

On 5 July 2010, the group opened for legendary guitarist Slash(former guitarist of Guns N' Roses) at the Rockhal, with enormous success. After this concert, the group's reputation continued to grow. They have since performed, among others, at the Netrockfestival at the Rockhal, on the occasion of the latter's fifth anniversary and at the second anniversary celebration of the Rockbox club in Clausen.

Porn Queen is set to again open for Slash several times including two dates in Brazil and Paris, as well as for US guitarist Richie Kotzen (ex-member of Poison and Mr. Big) in Luxembourg, France, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Austria and many others. They will also be playing at major festivals including the Food for your Senses Festival in Tuntange, Fête de la Musique (Dudelange and Luxembourg-Ville), Rock-A-Field (with the likes of Motörhead and Snow Patrol), Rock um Knuedler and Sonisphere (with Faith No More, Marilyn Manson, etc.).

Porn Queen's music is influenced by 80s hard rock (think Guns N' Roses, Aerosmith, etc.) with a touch of blues and rock and roll lyrics.

On the occasion of their 10th anniversary this year, Porn Queen will release the single Mantra on Sunday 5 July 2020. Mantra is the first single from the new EP to be released this autumn. The song is about persistence and above all not giving in to the effects of depression. It is about finding ways to escape the darkness and holding on to things that lift us up, such as love and the power of music.
