Luxembourg's national railway company, the CFL, reported that trains between Kautenbach and Wiltz will be disrupted from Monday 14 September 2026, due to a technical issue involving a structure near Merkholtz.

The CFL has advised that the frequency of trains will be reduced to one train per hour instead of two trains per hour in each direction, with departures every hour at 33 minutes past the hour from Kautenbach and at sixteen minutes past the hour from Wiltz.

Maintenance teams are on site to resolve the problem.

There is currently no information available regarding how long the disruption will last.

Passengers are advised to check their journeys using the timetable search on cfl.lu or via the CFL mobile app.
