Trains Between Kautenbach, Wiltz Suspended Due to Stranded Train

Shortly after 15:00 on Thursday 18 September 2025, Luxembourg's national railway company, the CFL, reported that trains on the Kautenbach–Wiltz line are currently disrupted due to a train blocking the tracks.

According to the CFL, trains running in both directions between Kautenbach and Wiltz are affected.


The CFL noted their teams are working to remove the stranded train and to restore rail traffic as quickly as possible, asking passengers to use the scheduled bus services between Kautenbach and Wiltz for their journeys.
