Luxembourg's national railway company, the CFL, has reported that an announced strike in Belgium will likely disrupt traffic between Luxembourg and Belgium this coming weekend.
Due to a strike in Belgium as part of a union action, the train service is expected to be particularly disrupted between Luxembourg and Belgium from Friday 21 February (22:00) until Sunday 2 March 2025 inclusive.
The CFL assured it would integrate the information published by the SNCB concerning the impact of the strike in Belgium "as soon as possible" into its timetable search.
The CFL also noted that the replacement buses set up during the Carnival works will run between Luxembourg and Arlon (Belgium) on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 February 2025 to replace the trains on the Luxembourg – Kleinbettingen – Arlon line.
