On Saturday 14 December 2024, Luxembourg's railway company, the CFL, announced the resumption of train traffic after an accident.

The CFL informed the public that train traffic had returned to normal on line 10 Luxembourg – Ettelbruck – Troisvierges – Gouvy, following an accident involving a person and requiring the intervention of the emergency services in Walferdange earlier that day.

Train traffic had been disrupted in both directions.

In a statement, the CFL apologised for the inconvenience caused and advised customers to consult their website www.cfl.lu or the CFL mobile application for information on their journey.
