Luxembourg's national railway company, the CFL, has announced that train services will resume gradually between Luxembourg and Thionville (France) from midday.

Due to unfavourable weather conditions and heavy rain at the weekend, rail traffic on line 90 (Luxembourg - Bettembourg - Thionville) has been interrupted in both directions since Saturday 24 July 2021.

Since Saturday, CLF's technical teams have repaired the affected facilities. On Monday, they carried out tests, which turned out to be conclusive, to ensure the flawless functioning of the infrastructures.

Rail traffic will gradually resume from 12:30 today, Tuesday 27 July 2021.

Further information is available on the website www.cfl.lu and on the CFL mobile application.
