The University of Luxembourg has announced that, on Thursday 9 January 2025, it is organising the first Girls Studying Science and Tech event at the Forum Geeseknäppchen, a large event geared towards girls attending secondary school in the Grand Duchy.
The aim of the #GirlsinSciTech initiative is to raise awareness among girls of study options in natural sciences, engineering sciences and informatics.
During this event, numerous women will share their experiences in studying and working in these domains with secondary school visitors. It is also a great opportunity for alumni and teachers to exchange with young girls about their expectations, doubts and challenges.
