The communal administration of Clervaux has announced that the students of the Lycée Edward Steichen in Clervaux are organising a solidarity march "WALK INTO LIGHT" which will take place on Thursday 17 October from 18:00 in Clervaux.
The event is being organised in collaboration with the municipality of Clervaux to raise awareness of problems related to psychological suffering and suicide, and to support people suffering from mental illness, suicide and self-harm.
The participating walkers include those grieving at the loss of a loved one to suicide; they are gathering to give hope to those who suffer. They are all united to show those who suffer that after the darkest night, the light of a new morning awaits them.
The walk starts at 18:00 at the Lycée Edward Steichen in Clervaux. After a short introduction to the theme by the high school students, the walk is scheduled to start, to the Clervaux castle. At the end, around 20:30, coffee and snacks will await the walkers.
