A Stop Brexit is being held on Wednesday 6 September from 16:00 from Kirchberg to Luxembourg-ville (Place Guillaume II).

Organised by EUnite, a group "fighting for our rights in the EU to be kept as they are now", the event follows a day after a similar march being held in Brussels.

EUnite will be making a documentary with help from Claire Lawrenson Productions as they take their message of friendship and solidarity to our friends across our continent with our next events taking place in Brussels on Tuesday 5 September and the following day in Luxembourg. Join in the cast of the 48+% as they march to the heart of our precious European Union and take the fight to protect their rights as EU citizens beyond the borders of Britain.

EUnite's statement continued "Let’s keep this simple, Brexit had nothing to do with the British economy. It had nothing to do with control over laws and borders that we had never lost, it is all about narrow minded, isolationist, xenophobic nationalism cloaked in the delusion and grandeur of an empire long gone. This is not the Britain we wish to live in. This is not the world we wish to live in and we must do all that we can to oppose this national folly and self-inflicted catastrophe and WE NEED YOU!"

The organisers are also calling for financial support by "DONATING to our CROWDFUNDER" to help make this event a success. Funds raised for this event will be used to produce multilingual leaflets, subsidise coach hire for the event in Luxembourg, help towards funding the documentary and stage and equipment hire for the rallies. In return for support, donors will receive various rewards from being featured as a supporter in the documentary credits to featuring in the film itself. Please see the crowdfunder page (http://bit.ly/2wsQDRm) for more details.
