
Luxembourg's Ministry of State and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Defence, Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade have reported that the Swedish Prime Minister, Ulf Kristersson, and European Union Affairs Minister, Jessica Rosencrantz, will pay a working visit to the Grand Duchy on Wednesday 19 March 2025.
Luxembourg's Prime Minister, Luc Frieden, will host his Swedish counterpart and the EU Affairs Minister for a working meeting with delegations at Hôtel Saint-Maximin (Ministry of State) in Luxembourg-Ville. Discussions will focus on bilateral relations as well as major current European and international political issues.
The Swedish Prime Minister will also be received in audience by the Hereditary Grand Duke of Luxembourg at the Grand Ducal Palace.
For her part, Minister Rosencrantz will meet with Luxembourg's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Xavier Bettel, for a bilateral meeting at the Foreign Ministry.
Also on the agenda is a meeting between the Swedish Prime Minister and EU Affairs Minister and the President and Vice-President of the European Investment Bank (EIB), Nadia Calviño and Thomas Östros.
The working visit will conclude with a dinner at Senningen Castle hosted by Prime Minister Luc Frieden in honour of his Swedish counterpart.
