On Thursday 15 June 2023, Luxembourg's Prime Minister Xavier Bettel announced that His Royal Highness the Grand Duke that same day tendered the honourable resignation of Corinne Cahen (at her own request) as Minister for Family Affairs, Integration and the Greater Region.

Max Hahn was sworn in as a new member of the Luxembourg Government and will serve as the new Minister for Family Affairs, Integration and the Greater Region.

A trained engineer with expertise in sustainable energy management, Max Hahn had served as a Member of Parliament (Chamber of Deputies) since 2013.
