Luxembourg government's press and information service has confirmed that the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Dimitri Medvedev, will make an official two-day visit to Luxembourg next week, on Tuesday 5 and Wednesday 6 March 2019.

The Russian Prime Minister sill be visiting the Grand Duchy on the invitation of Luxembourg's Prime Minister, Xavier Bettel.

Discussions between the two prime ministers will focus on bilateral relations in the economic, political and cultural spheres. Relations between the European Union and Russia, as well as major issues of European and international news, will also be on the agenda.

The Russian Prime Minister will also be granted an audience with HRH the Grand Duke, as well as meeting with the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Luxembourg's parliament.
