On Saturday 7 June 2025, POST Luxembourg will organise the POP Esports Masters (PEM) Gaming Festival at the Forum Geesseknäppchen in Luxembourg-Merl, in collaboration with Luxembourg-based agency RIFT.
According to POST, the POP Esports Masters, now in its seventh season, will feature activities focused on video games, esports and virtual reality (VR), with the event open to the general public.
The event is described by the organisers as “a full immersion in the gaming universe,” featuring interactive activities, casual challenges and live esports finals. The top teams will compete for a total prize pool of €20,000.
The PEM Gaming Festival will begin at 10:00, with a programme that includes live on-stage finals of the POP Esports Masters in League of Legends, Valorant and Rocket League, high-end VR simulators featuring space flight and futuristic motorbike experiences, a Mario Kart World challenge with a Nintendo Switch 2 prize and freeplay zones with PS5, Switch and retro games.
Visitors will also be able to discover Luxembourg-based digital creators and artists, along with other activities throughout the day, POST noted.
Beyond gaming, the PEM Gaming Festival will support a good cause: the fight against cancer. In partnership with Télévie, a fundraising initiative will take place throughout the day. Players, organisers and visitors will be invited to contribute to this solidarity effort.
