On Sunday 6 April 2025, the Coque in Luxembourg-Kirchberg hosted the Loterie Nationale Cup table tennis finals.

At the competition, organised by the Luxembourg Table Tennis Federation (Fédération Luxembourgeoise de Tennis de Table – FLTT), the teams were determined in six different categories, including the youngest - Kids-Cup, Teens Cup and Coupe des Jeunes - and the oldest - Seniors (men) and Dames (women).

Charles Muller, FLTT Vice President, spoke to Chronicle.lu about the final day of the competition: “It’s the cup finals. We have the national championships that take place throughout the year and then we have this cup final, which is a separate competition based on a knockout system. You play each round and today is the final stage. […] We also have additional cups that are more inclusive for the lower leagues. As you will see now with the youth, we have categories for kids and teens - they all get to compete here. The format is always the same: it’s a knockout tournament.”

In the men's final (Senior), Hueschtert-Folscht (Hostert) faced Recken (Mersch), following respective semi-final victories against Nidderkäerjeng (Bascharage) - 4-0 and Lëntgen (Lintgen) 4-1. The match was a repeat of last year's final, which Hueschtert-Folscht had won 4:2. The Hostert team successfully defended their title.

The winner of the women's cup changed this year, although the final once again featured the current champions from Rued (Betzdorf). However, Diddeleng (Dudelange), who had been eliminated in the quarter-finals last year, defeated the favourites 4-2. DT Diddeleng were crowned champions of the 2024/2025 Loterie Nationale Cup Finals.
