Members of the Luxembourg Shorttrack Speed Skating club recently participated in both the Easter Cup and the Malmo International Shorttrack Open.
Anna Ruysschaert and Caroline Murphy both participated in the 36th International Easter Cup in Gent (Belgium) in their separate categories, Anna in Girls D and Caroline in Ladies C. Both took bronze and were placed third on the podium, as well as two personal bests for Anna. Both will be participating in the last competition of the 2015/2016 season, the Closing Games, that will be held tomorrow, Saturday 2 April, in Turnhout (Belgium).
Cecilia Backstrom competed in the Malmo International Shorttrack Open in Malmö (Sweden) and was placed eighth in her group.
Both competitions were held during the last week-end in March 2016.
A Belgian coach will be taking training for the team during the week-end of Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 April 2016.
