In order to send a team to the Special Olympics World Winter Games in Austria in March 2017 with the best preparation possible, Special Olympics Luxembourg (SOL) has announced that they have launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds.
SOL has composed their team to compete (22 athletes and 12 trainers; downhill skiing; cross-country skiing; snowshoes; stick shooting) and it will start slowly its preparation which will include holding a training camp in Bavaria in Germany next December; to finance this project, SOL has launched a crowdfunding campaign and has ask for the support of the public.
