The Rotondes cultural venue in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie has announced the concert “Echoes of the Earth”, with Naser Halayqa & Friends, an evening of oriental music and poetry, taking place at 19:00 on Thursday 26 March 2026.
Organised by Nashama in Luxembourg, a civic collective promoting Levantine culture and supporting solidarity initiatives for Gaza, the event is held in collaboration with HuSoMe (Humanité Solidarité Médecine) and Rotondes.
According to the organisers, the concert will highlight the oud, an emblematic instrument of Arab musical heritage, alongside poems by Mahmoud Darwish, described as a living memory of the land and its people.
The organisers describe the event as “a space where music and poetry give voice to both the fragility and resilience of those affected”, with texts evoking the reality of life in Gaza and “the strength of those who continue to hope despite everything”.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to HuSoMe.
Tickets cost €20 in advance and €22 at the door, with a reduced Kulturpass rate of €1.50 and are available at https://www.rotondes.lu/fr/agenda/echos-de-la-terre.
