Den Atelier and d'Coque have teamed up to organise a series of urban open-air concerts in Luxembourg-Kirchberg this September.
The POND Eclectic concert series, supported by CUPRA, will offer a mix of local and international headline acts in the late summer.
The venue will be the amphitheatre on Rue Léon Hengen, which can accommodate up to 300 people under current restrictions and which creates a natural intimate concert setting.
POND Eclectic Lineup
- Sun. 05/09 (doors open @ 19:00)
White Lies: British indie rockers White Lies are returning to Luxembourg for (at least) the fifth time in September 2021. The band build on the best of Joy Division, Editors and Interpol, taking that sound to a stadium-worthy level.
- Mon. 06/09 (doors open @ 19:00)
José González: Born to Argentine parents in Sweden, singer-songwriter José González has become nationally renowned for his mix of autumnal indie pop and intimate acoustics. He formed the indie rock outfit Junip alongside organist Elias Araya and drummer Tobias Winterkorn. José González officially launched his solo career in 2003. He has just released his first new music in six years, a single titled "El Invento", which is his first-ever Spanish-language release.
- Tue. 07/09 (doors open @ 19:00)
L’Impératrice: French pop and disco outlet L’Impératrice took the world by storm with their rousing dancefloor sound. L'Impératrice was the brainchild of keyboardist-composer Charles de Boisseguin. After releasing a couple of EPs starting in 2012 and adding a dedicated singer along the way, the band issued their first album, "Matahari", in 2018. After a first performance at den Atelier in 2020, the group is returning to the Grand Duchy with a brand-new album: "Tako Tsubo".
- Wed. 08/09 (doors open @ 19:00)
Olli Schulz: As well as being a popular German singer-songwriter, Olli Schulz is a podcaster, presenter and actor. The all-rounder is crossing the border to Luxembourg a second time this September, after his last concert as part of the “Scheiß Leben, gut seine” Tour 2018.
