American singer-songwriter John Grant will be in Luxembourg on Friday 20 November 2015 to perform his third solo album, 'Grey Tickles, Black Pressure' at den Atelier.
The Michigan-born musician started out as part of alternative rock group The Czars in the 1990s, and has received critical acclaim since launching his career as a solo artist in 2010. In spring 2014, Grant's position as one of the most intriguing voiced of the 21st century was confirmed with a nomination for Best International Male Solo Artist at the BRITS, sharing the category with Eminem, Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars and Drake.
"Grey Tickles, Black Pressure is variously agonising, hilarious, uplifting and moving: another bravura display from a unique songwriting talent," is how the Guardian has described John Grant's 2015 album, which follows groundbreaking work on 'Queen of Denmark' and 'Pale Green Ghosts'.
John Grant recently joined Luxembourg-born group When 'Airy Met Fairy at the Iceland Airwaves Festival and will now be making an appearance in the Grand Duchy to unleash his raw songwriting and lyrical prowess on an audience at den Atelier.
