On Thursday 15 January 2026, the two museums of the City of Luxembourg announced that a total of 111,829 visitors were recorded last year at the Luxembourg City Museum, Villa Vauban - Musée d’Art de la Ville de Luxembourg and the Muerbelsmillen in Luxembourg-Pfaffenthal.
This total is the third time since 2023 where the municipal museums have exceeded 100,000 visits and is the first occasion where more than 110,000 visitors have been welcomed.
Luxembourg City Museum attracted 64,616 visitors, the former mill “Muerbelsmillen” in Luxembourg-Pfaffenthal was visited by 2,568 people and Villa Vauban welcomed 44,645 visitors – the highest number for the art museum since its establishment.
