The Nationalmusée um Fëschmaart (formerly known as the National Museum of History and Art - MNHA) in Luxembourg-Ville has announced that it is organising an Open Doors event on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 June 2024, each day from 10:00 to 18:00.

The open days form part of the museum's exhibition on the Carnation Revolution: "La révolution de 1974. Des rues de Lisbonne à Luxembourg".

On Saturday, the museum is offering a range of themed tours (including a special tour in English about the symbolism of the carnation flower, at 14:00) to familiarise visitors with the exhibition. On Sunday, there will be music, live entertainment, workshops and culinary specialties (from Cape Verde and Portugal).

Admission and participation is free of charge.
