On Thursday 3 August 2023, Luxembourg's Chamber of Deputies announced that the minutes of the period 1842 – 1856 have been digitised and are now freely accessible.
The project to digitise the Luxembourg Parliament's minutes from 1816 to 1945 started in 2022.
This historical work is part of the mission that the Chamber of Deputies has given itself, which is to preserve and publish in a widely accessible way the heart of parliamentary work: the debates of public sessions and parliamentary documents.
The documents allow one to dive into the parliamentary debates at the time of the Grand Dukes, the troubles of 1848 and the birth of the Chamber of Deputies.
The historical reports are available online at https://www.chd.lu/fr/node/1653
