On Thursday 15 October 2026, the City of Luxembourg (VdL) announced that as a result of roadworks on Allée Pierre de Mansfeld in Luxembourg-Pfaffenthal traffic arrangements will be adapted on the morning of Saturday 17 October.
The VdL said that between 07:30 and 12:00 on Saturday Allée Pierre de Mansfeld will be closed between Rue Jules Wilhelm and Rue de Clausen.
Access for local residents will be maintained, either from the Rue de Clausen side or from the Rue du Fort Olisy side.
The following changes will apply to public transport for the duration of the works:
• Bus routes 23 and 26 will be diverted via Côte d’Eich and Montée de Clausen
• The stops Stade Gaston Diderich, Sichenhaff, Pfaffenthal-Halte CFL, Théiwesbuer, Vauban and Ste Cunégonde will be suspended and replaced by the stops Octroi, Crispinus and Plateau Altmünster
• On route 23 towards Dommeldange, the stop Clausener Bréck, platform 1 will be replaced by Clausener Bréck, platform 4
The City of Luxembourg’s Traffic Department confirmed it will ensure that appropriate signage is installed.
