On Thursday 8 October 2026, the City of Luxembourg (VdL) announced that as part of landscaping works on Rue des Glacis traffic arrangements will be adapted on Sunday 11 October.
The VdL said that as a result of these works, between 07:00 and 17:00 on Sunday, Rue des Glacis (the section between Rue Belle Vue and the former Côte d’Eich) will be closed to all traffic.
In addition, the following changes will apply to municipal bus services for the duration of the works:
• Lines 3 (30), 4 and 33 will be diverted in both directions via Côte d’Eich and Rue Willy Goergen. The Fondation Pescatore, Theater, Kiischtewee and Alen Eecher Bierg stops will be suspended and replaced by the Badanstalt and Crispinus stops.
• Line 30 will continue as Line 3 from Badanstalt Quai 1 toward Beggen-Henri Dunant.
• Line 3 will continue as Line 30 from Badanstalt Quai 2 toward Kirchberg-Réimerwee.
The VdL said that in the event of unfavourable weather conditions the works will be postponed.
