On Wednesday 2 September 2026, the City of Luxembourg (VdL) announced that as part of tree safety works on Avenue de la Faïencerie traffic arrangements will be adapted on Saturday 5 September.
The VdL said that as a result of these works, Avenue de la Faïencerie will be closed between Rue Tony Neuman and Rue de Rollingergrund from 06:00 to 16:00 on Saturday.
The City of Luxembourg’s Traffic Department has said appropriate signage will be put in place.
Additionally, the CFL detailed that Bus line 19 will be shortened and will no longer serve Reckenthal. As a result the following bus stops will not operate during the works:
⁃ Roudebierg
⁃ Steekaul
⁃ Reckenthal-Gäertnerei
⁃ Potagers
⁃ Strassen-Schafsstrachen
⁃ Strassen-Cité Pescher
⁃ Strassen-Oricher-Hoehl
In the direction of the Central Station, the Lefèvre Quai 2 stop will be replaced by a temporary stop located on Rue Tony Neuman.
The line will have its temporary terminus at the Neumans Park stop.
