The City of Luxembourg (VdL) has announced upcoming roadworks on Rue Antoine-François Van Der Meulen, which will take place from Monday 24 August at 05:00 until Tuesday 15 September at 05:00, on the section between Route d'Echternach and Rue du Château.

The works will result in temporary traffic changes and diversions to several municipal bus lines, as Rue Antoine-François Van Der Meulen will operate as a one-way street on this section, in the direction of Route d'Echternach.

Municipal bus lines 4, 23, 25, 81 and CN5 will be affected by the works.

Line 4 will be diverted via the Dommeldange bypass. Towards Dommeldange, the Lavals Park Quai 1, Knupp Quai 1, Tommys Bruch Quai 1 and Biechelchen Quai 1 stops will not be served. They will be replaced by Dommeldange-Contournement Quai 1 and a temporary stop in front of 31-35 Route d'Echternach. Towards Leudelange, the corresponding Biechelchen, Tommys Bruch, Knupp and Lavals Park stops will not be served, with passengers directed to Dommeldange-Contournement Quai 2 instead.

Line 23 towards Dommeldange will be diverted via Route d'Echternach and will not serve Van der Meulen Quai 3.

Line 25 will also be diverted via the Dommeldange bypass. Towards Hamm, Biechelchen Quai 2, Tommys Bruch Quai 2and Knupp Quai 2 will not be served and will be replaced by a temporary stop in front of 36-38 Route d'Echternach. Towards Dommeldange, several stops, including Knupp Quai 1, Tommys Bruch Quai 1, Biechelchen Quai 1, Van der Meulen Quai 3 and Sidney Thomas, will not be served. Replacement stops will be available at Dommeldange-Contournement Quai 1 and in front of 31-35 Route d'Echternach.

Line 81 will be diverted via the Dommeldange bypass. Several stops towards the European School and Dommeldange will not be served, with passengers redirected to Dommeldange-Contournement Quai 2 or the temporary stop in front of 31-35 Route d'Echternach, depending on the direction of travel.

The CN5 night bus will also use the Dommeldange bypass. The Knupp Quai 1, Tommys Bruch Quai 1, Biechelchen Quai 1, Van der Meulen Quai 3 and Sidney Thomas stops will not be served and will be replaced by the temporary stop in front of 31-35 Route d'Echternach.

During the works VdL Traffic Department will put appropriate signage in place to guide traffic.
