On Wednesday 19 August 2026, the City of Luxembourg (VdL) announced upcoming sewer works on Rue des Aubépines, which will result in a temporary road closure and changes to municipal bus services.
The works will take place from Monday 24 August 2026 at 07:00 until Monday 14 September 2026 at 17:00. During this period, Rue des Aubépines will be closed between Route d'Arlon and Rue de l'Ouest.
Municipal bus lines 13 and 24 will be diverted in both directions via Route d'Arlon, Rue d'Ostende, Rue d'Amsterdam, Rue Marguerite Thomas-Clement and Boulevard Grande-Duchesse Joséphine-Charlotte.
Towards Monterey on line 13 and P+R Bouillon on line 24, the Aubépines Quai 2 stop will not be served. Towards the Centre Hospitalier terminus, the Val Ste Croix Quai 1 and Aubépines Quai 1 stops will not be served, while a temporary Val Ste Croix Quai 1 stop will be set up at 223 Val Ste Croix.
To guide traffic during the works, the VdL Traffic Department will put appropriate signage in place.
