Luxembourg's Roads and Bridges Administration has announced the closure of a section of the N5 between Schouweiler and Bascharage from 09:00 on Friday 4 September until around 22:00 on Sunday 6 September 2026.
As part of ongoing road infrastructure improvements, the administration will renew the road surface on the N5 near the Bommelscheuer industrial zone.
The affected section of the N5 will be closed to traffic in both directions throughout the works, while Rue Bommel, which provides access to the industrial zone, will close several hours earlier. A signposted diversion will be in place.
