Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy has announced an increase in petrol and diesel prices.

As of Saturday 4 July 2026, the price of unleaded 95-octane petrol has risen by 1.7 cents to €1.646 per litre (including VAT), while that of unleaded 98-octane petrol has increased by 4.4 cents to €1.824 per litre. Diesel at the pump has also become more expensive, rising by 1.8 cents to €1.610 per litre.

The price of heating oil (10 ppm S, ≥ 1,500 litres) has increased by 1.8 cents to €1.093 per litre.

The price of diesel for industrial and commercial use has risen by 1.8 cents to €1.215 per litre, while that of diesel for agricultural and horticultural use is also up 1.8 cents, reaching €1.062 per litre.

Meanwhile, the prices of LPG and propane remain unchanged at €0.682 and €0.711 per litre, respectively.
