Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy has announced a drop in the price of 95 and 98 octane petrol and LPG and propane. Other fuel prices remain stable.
As of Wednesday 17 June 2026, the price of unleaded 95 octane petrol has decreased by 6.8 cents to €1.665 per litre and that of unleaded 98 octane petrol has fallen by 4.9 cents to €1.772 per litre (including VAT). The price for diesel remains at €1.685 per litre (including VAT).
The cost of heating oil also remains stable at €1.117, with prices for diesel for industrial/commercial and agricultural/horticultural steady at €1.240 and €1.087 respectively.
LPG and propane prices have reduced by 5.7 and 3.3 cents respectively to 69.3 and 73.4 cents per litre.
Fuel prices have fluctuated in Luxembourg and other countries in recent months amid the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.
