Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy has announced a drop in petrol, diesel and other fuel prices.
As of Thursday 28 May 2026, the price of unleaded 95 octane petrol has decreased by 5.9 cents to €1.755 per litre and that of unleaded 98 octane petrol has fallen by 5.3 cents to €1.866 per litre (including VAT).
The price for diesel has reduced by 7.3 cents to €1.206 per litre (including VAT).
The cost of heating oil has reduced by 7.5 cents to €1.206 and prices for diesel for industrial/commercial and agricultural/horticultural use have reduced by 7.2 cents to €1.323 and €1.170 respectively.
LPG and propane prices remain stable at 75.0 and 76.7 cents per litre.
Fuel prices have fluctuated in Luxembourg and other countries in recent months amid the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.
